"100 Years From Today" celebrating the 100th anniversary of SAC Park, Shrewsbury, MA.
Dan Gabel and His Orchestra, hailed as "the real deal..." [Boston Globe] is an authentic Big Band led by trombonist and arranger, Dan Gabel. The band will entertain with three hours of the finest dance music, honoring the rich heritage of the Scandinavian Club. You'll hear Swing, Lindy Hop, Charleston, Fox Trot, Rumba, Cha Cha, Waltz, and even a Polka, Schottische, and a Hambo. This is a perect time to grab your dance shoes, polish off some old moves, or learn some new steps.
SAC Park is renown for a century of community and camaraderie. The venue boasts its unique, circular, large wooden dance floor with a nice bounce. Recently renovated, the Dome Room will again play host to the sounds of a dance orchestra and dancing feet.
